Process to update a FFV device on a mac...
1. Get ZTerm.

2. Make a connection profile for one of your devices ex. Digi Deck
Settings: Speed: 38400, Parity: Odd, Data Bits: 8, Stop bits: 2, ( UNCHECKED - Xon/Xoff and Hardware Handshake )
THESE SETTINGS VARY DEPENDING ON DEVICE THIS IS WHAT WAS USED ON THE DIGI DECK and NDT-200.
3. VERY IMPORTANT!
File Menu > Transfer Convert > Binary Data, otherwise the transfer will succeed and then the file will not be recognized by the unit!
4.Select Firmware update from device menu.
5. Send File
Use Xmodem-1k transfer protocol, use Xmodem-1k Send to select firmware file.
6. firmware should be updated...
To update firmware from a PC using hyper terminal, follow these instructions omitting step 3.
